I combine over 30 years experience in health care with ancient methods of holistic healing. I’ve been pleased to serve my community in the front lines of healthcare, working with physical and emotional pain, through hospice, family, service, PTSD, depression, anxiety, addiction, and many other traumas. As the captain of our local Red Cross disaster team for seven years, I saw first hand, the stresses that life can bring. Sound has the ability to heal even wounds that go back to your childhood, by using vibrational frequencies to promote holistic wellness, with significant effects on the body, mind, and spirit. A key mechanism of its efficiency lies in the ability to stimulate the vagus nerve, a critical component of the parasympathetic nervous system, which regulates relaxation and recovery processes, by engaging the vagus nerve through sound frequencies and rhythmic vibrations. Sound healing activates the parasympathetic response, lowering stress hormones, reducing heart rate, and enhancing heart rate variability. This activation fosters a sense of calm, counteracting the fight or flight response of the sympathetic nervous system, and supports the bodies natural healing abilities. Additionally, Sound induced Vagel stimulation, influences brain function, promoting neuroplastic and emotional regulation, which aids in reducing anxiety, improving mental clarity, and facilitating deeper states of meditation and spiritual connection. Through these pathways, sound healing creates a foundation for comprehensive healing and balance, and works side-by-side with other modalities for your greater good.
